Duvet Covers are great for apartment dwellers
After moving into a townhouse here in New Jersey, my dryer is on top of my wash machine. The two if put together would be the size of the washer I left behind in Florida. My comforter doesn't fit in either the wash machine or dryer so it's either pay to go to a laundromat and wait, which I really don't want to do. Go to New York to use my fiance's parents' washer and dryer which is going to be much more costly and time consuming than if I went to the laundromat. Or what I did was get a duvet cover (which Marion can make) and a duvet insert (which Marion can get for her customers). It's AWESOME! I simply take the cover off and throw it into the wash which it fits in, take it out, throw it into the dryer which it fits in, and then put it back on. PLUS, the insert for right now is thin for the summer and we purchased a heavier one for the winter which rolls up rather nicely. And to prevent the insert from bunching, I used my tack gun (which Marion can get her customers or you can purchase from here and watch a video here about it) to keep the insert's corners in the duvet corners. So nice to have.
